At The French Montessori Elementary School of San Diego, we believe that strong foundations come first.

Kindergarten to 4th Grade

5 to 9 years old

students learn in a teacher-led classroom where reading, writing, mathematics, and critical thinking are developed through direct instruction, Montessori materials, hands-on learning, and collaborative activities.

During these foundational years, children build the confidence and academic skills they need before transitioning to digital learning.

4th to 6th Grade

9 to 12 years old

students move to a modern, technology-enhanced model.

Each day, students complete approximately two hours of interactive digital learning through a challenging, personalized academic program. They complete their core academic lessons on the computer, allowing them to learn at their own pace while teachers provide individualized guidance and support. This approach also frees up more time for project-based learning, entrepreneurship, art and design, French, executive function development, and real-world problem solving.

Every core subject is covered daily—including Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies—ensuring consistent progress and strong academic foundations.

Parents can monitor their child’s daily progress, grades, and GPA in real time, providing complete transparency and allowing them to celebrate every milestone.
